  Margaret made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and the view across the lake is fantastic. We were warned about the movement when some of the heavier trains passed, but it was still a novelty when it happened!

  Tranquility, welcoming, impeccably attentive to your every need. Margaret and Donn have outdone any five star hotel in the experience and environment they have created. Our room was ridiculously clean, not a spec of dust to be found! Even a new A/C unit was supplied. We fell in love and will be back as soon as we can!

  We stayed at the Lakeside on our drive from Jasper to Whistler. Everything in this place is exceptional: absolute cleanliness, beautiful gardens, view of the lake and wonderful hostess Margaret. She made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was just perfect and we were really happy to stay at such a lovely place.
